Amen Corner was one of the biggest influences on the sixties pop scene to ever come out of Wales. With their own brand of West Coast (Wales) Music, a mixture of mod psychedelic power pop, with heavy horns, swirling Hammond organ, the distinctive voice of Andy Fairweather-Low and their power house live show made them one of the most exciting bands around at the time.

With million seller hits like “Gin House”, “Bend Me Shape Me”, “If Paradise was half as Nice”, “High in the Sky”, & “Hello Suzie”; they became a household name in the late sixties.
Over the years there have been many requests for the band to reform but due to circumstance this will unfortunately never happen. However, as a result of a long standing friendship between sax man Frogman Curtis and Alan Jones (one of the original founder member’s) The official new Amen Corner has been formed to keep the memory and music alive of this legendary band.

The new Amen Corner features; Lead Vocals (Glen Leon), Guitar /Vocals (Will Hicks), Bass (Dave Howson), Drums/Vocals (Curly McVicar), Hammond Organ (Micky Lavender), Keyboards/Vocals (Martin Riley), Saxes & Percussion (Frogman Curtis) and their set consists of all the Amen Corner hits plus a selection of the best power pop songs from the late sixties.

The Summer of Love is the title New Amen Corner uses for all their theatre and production shows
